What format does my artwork need to be in?

Artwork needs to be received in a true EPS, AI or PDF format suitable for a PC. Otherwise a CorelDraw 12 file or lower. All text must be converted to curves / objects so that it is no longer recognised as a font.

Can you offer an express turnaround service?

Yes. It depends on how soon the deadline is and what is required. We will always do our best to meet your delivery requirements and will let you know prior to ordering whether this is possible. An express charge might apply.

Can you print metal pens?

Yes. Most metal pens are suitable for us to print, but unfortunately not all are. We have a wide selection that we print on a regular basis, but any new pens can be tested for ink adhesion and print suitability prior to any order.

How long do metal pens take to dry?

We have to allow metal pens approx. 3-4 days to cure and fully dry before we are able to pack these. This allows the print to fully bond.

What is the standard lead-time?

Our standard lead-time is 5-10 working days, but always do our best to have the goods ready to be despatched as early as possible.

What can delay my order?

We always do our very best to despatch goods for the required delivery dates. However, it can be extremely difficult to play catch up with stock arriving late or artwork being approved late. We will always inform you of any delays on your order, but aim to be delivering goods on time.

Is there any material you can’t print onto?

We are able to print onto a wide range of base materials, however, there will always be products that are unsuitable for printing. We are always happy to test products prior to ordering for ink adhesion, please contact us for details.

Do you offer an engraving service?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer an engraving service, as we specialise in offering a brilliant printing service which is second-to-none in our minds.

Is it possible for you to print full-colour process / tints / half-tones?

We are only able to print spot colours, so apologies but no full-colour process, tints or half-tones.

Can you print onto the clip or side of my pen?

Yes. In most cases we are able to print onto the clip or sides of pens through our pad printing service. If this takes your interest, please contact us.

How do you know what colour to print?

When ordering, please inform us of the coated Pantone colour reference for your print and we will be able to match this accordingly.

Are there any colour combinations to avoid?

When printing onto a dark base the colour being printed is likely to appear darker. This is especially true of red/yellow shades being printed onto a black/blue base product. We will always advise accordingly and recommend more suitable options.

If my pens are supplied in boxes, are you able to utilise these?

We are happy to unpack / pack pens out of and into boxes or sleeves at a small additional charge.

How much does printing cost?

Please contact Gemma or complete the enquiry form for your specific requirements.

If in doubt, ask. We will be happy to help with your enquiry.
